Boundless Curriculum Reflections
YounglifeBeing a Younglife Leader has taught me so many things, one of the biggest things being how to love others well. Being a leader to highschoolers means to show up during the hard times, and to be who you needed when you needed someone, which are both things I don't feel I did my best at until becoming a Younglife leader. It also brings me a community of like minded people who are doing the same thing, which inspires me to learn more about how to be a servant to others, as well as learn more about myself and my faith. I feel like being a YL leader has been such an unexpected part of my life, and therefore provides a way for me to observe all the changes I have experienced in myself.

FamilyMy family dynamic has taught me a lot about myself and my personal tendencies. I think the way I was raised, as well as the way my siblings and I work as a trio speaks to who I am, as well as the ways it is useful for me to learn and grow. For example, my parents are pretty laid back and didn’t force beliefs on me, so I’ve to figure things out at my own pace, and therefore promote growth. Additionally, as the oldest child, I think a lot of my tendencies to be really loyal and committed to the things I love and am passionate about comes from being a role model to my younger siblings. With this being so integral to who I am, I feel like I strive to have an awareness about how other people's family dynamics have impacted them and their learning.
